  • 1974-77:  Monteleone Master Model (through #8, signed & dated)
  • 1977-90:  John Monteleone, 41 Degnon Blvd., Bayshore NY(starting #9, 1977-90)
  • No label, stamped date/number beginning with instruments made in Islip (1990 to present)

  • John Monteleone began repairing and restoring instruments at Mandolin Brothers in Staten Island, NY in 1973.  
  • Opened Bayshore Shop in 1976.
  • Relocated to Islip, NY in 1990.

M-1 & Style F Mandolins

  • The F-5 Replica was designated the M-1 with building of #2.  
  • The first mandolin had “Gibson“ on the headstock.  #8 was the last to do this.
  • The M-1 was renamed the Style F with #11.
  • The last Style F was built in 1985.
  • 39 F-5 mandolins were built
